Dutch design firm UNStudio, has been commissioned by fashion house Louis Vuitton to design their Flagship store in Japan, which will result in a 10-storey landmark building which will contain a retail space, café, spa, garden, bookstore, as well as an event and exhibition space. The proposed design follows an environmentally friendly approach, and contains gardens within the naturally ventilated interiors of the building, while the Leaf shape seen on Louis Vuitton’s monogram has been incorporated into the design and structure of the exterior. The exact location of the store in Japan is unknown as of yet.
