Japanese architect June Aoki recently unveiled his installation for BMW's famous Art Car Exhibition entitled "Transparent Speed" in Tokyo at the Mori Arts Center. The show was based on the ”idea to have cars floating high up in the sky”. Aoki wanted to show speed without the constraints of resistance. In order to help achieve this 10,000 transparent polycarbonate pipes filled the gallery as they were strung from different heights from the ceiling.
