Uniqlo has just annouced the first wave of collaborative projects under their new Designer Invitation Campaign. The first collections to hit stores will be Steven Alan and Opening Ceremony respective collections this March 9th. They will be followed by an April 13th released of collections by The Gilded Age and Shipley & Halmos. This appears to be similar to what other retailers like H&M and TopShop have been doing by offering collaborative lines. I haven't seen any of the collections other than what is seen above, but I am optimistic. More news awaits...
