Junya Watanabe Spring 2009
Late pass! In case you haven't seen this yet, i'd like to highlight my favorite collection from the major mens spring '09 runway shows, Junya Watanabe. I cant even focus on what I liked in particular about it , the entire thing was just fon point in my opinion. The line kinda reminded me of Dropkick Murphys meets Clockwork Orange meets Heath Ledger's Joker... meets Western European globe trotters. I doubt that will make much sense, but rest assured its a good thing. Included in this collection is Watanbe's much anticipated collaboration with Brooks Brothers, the two are first times collaborators if i'm not mistaken. Other collaborators included Baracuta, Lacoste, and of course Levi’s. The full line including a detailed desciption can be seen here.

RCA Vehicle Design 2008
This year’s fourteen graduates from the Royal College of Art are Competing for the 2008 Pilkington Automotive Vehicle Design award, their projects ranged from a fresh take on eco-design to finding new ways of expressing personalisation. A couple of the students even challenged the status quo by designing boats for an imaginary future destroyed by global warming. Above is Jon Radbrink’s "Nuaero".

Atmos 561 Clock
The Atmos 561 Clock, made by Jaeger LeCoultre and designed by Mark Newson, is powered entirely by changes in temperature and sits inside a block of crystal for good measure. According to The Watchismo Times, a change in temperature of one degree celsius can power the clock for two days. AMazing to say the absolute least.

In Deutschland, Veritas
More than 50 years ago, a handful of BMW employees went rogue and began building racing cars based on prewar Bimmers. They dubbed the line Veritas, and built about 75 vehicles before shutting down the operation in 1952. Then in 2001, a handful of enthusiasts resuscitated the name for the RS III concept (pictured), and now Autoblog reports the car will finally be produced later this year. It'll carry a tuned version of BMW's 5-liter V-10 under the hood, good for 600 horsepower and a 0-to-60 time of 3.2 seconds. It probably won't come cheap—only 50 will be made

Nike Free Hybrid Boot
This is the latest addition to Nike's environmentally friendly "considered" collection aptly called the "Free Hybrid Boot". The boot features Nike's Free technology which is supposed to "free" the foot and give a barefoot feel. Being a part of the Considered collection, the shoe is made in an environmentally friendly way from recycled materials. This is my favorite shoe that has come out through Nike Considered and one of my favorite non retro Nike's to come out in a long time. These should hit stores in a few months.

Radiohead - House of Cards
Radiohead's latest video, for the track "House of Cards" from the In Rainbows album, uses real time 3D recording instead of cameras, utilizing highly technical structured light and Lidar laser-enhanced scanners to model lead singer Thom Yorke and provide an otherworldly narrative accompaniment to the song. The video is insane. You can see an in depth interview @ Creativity Online. Below is the Music Video, and a "making of"
